Virginia Beach has a small town feel despite its size and layout. I love living here during the summer because there is so much to do. You can explore Mount Trashmore, come visit our museum, or hit the beach! There are several other historical sites you can visit including the Cape Henry Lighthouse on Fort Story.
Depending on the weather, I usually spend my days off at beach or on the water. The oceanfront is a great place to people watch or surf the waves. Most recently I have been studying for the LSAT at the beach! I love being able to enjoy the beach while still being productive.
There are some great restaurants to check out if you get hungry. Us locals love the Green Cat on 38th Street and YNot Italian on 33rd. But there are plenty of other restaurants up and down the boardwalk. Other than spending your day on the sand or in the water, you should visit some of the museums and shops. There are even two historic restaurants! If you’re visiting Virginia Beach for the first time, you need to explore all the oceanfront has to offer!
