We want YOU to fill our newly renovated building with life and activity! For a limited time, the Surf & Rescue Museum will be opening its doors for a fun community outreach initiative. Local clubs and organizations are invited to use our space, free of charge, for meetings and small events!
Do you have a club or organization that would like to use our space as a meeting venue? We will be open for use from Monday-Friday for local groups to utilize our oceanfront building for their next gathering. We can comfortably accommodate up to 40 guest in our lower gallery.
Together, we can create a place that is more than a museum. We can take our transformed building and create an inclusive place for people to gather for creation and discussion. This will allow us to reconnect to each other, and reconnect to our unique Virginia Beach heritage.
Keep in mind that all dates may not be available due to some construction projects happening these next few months. The best way to make a reservation is to contact Abby Locker, our Development Coordinator, at a firstname.lastname@example.org. She’ll give you the details and get your reservation in place.
Join us! Use our space for community enrichment. Book clubs, high school organizations, and historical societies are just a few examples of groups that can use our building free of charge. Take advantage of this exciting opportunity to gather right on the Boardwalk, inside a historical icon of Virginia Beach.
